Trip to Tajikistan: Tour 6

Day 1: Dushanbe
In Tajikistan the driver will meet you in the airport and accompany to Dushanbe. Travelers will have a guided city tour. We will visit Rudake Park, National library, White House, National state seal, and House of parliament. Then we will walk to National park, Ministry of Inner Affairs. We will see the biggest National Flag in the world of about 165 m high pole, 30 m wide, 60 m long. Guests will visit Gurminj Museum of traditional musical instruments as well as Asian bazaar. It has colorful goods, fruits and vegetables. Transfer to a hotel.

Day 2: Dushanbe - Seven Lakes
We will travel today to the Fannsky Gory (Fann Mountains). The way to the lakes goes over pass Shahriston (3 378 m) as one of the most popular hiking areas. Travelers will have a trip to Seven Lakes (Marquzor Lakes). It is 60 km south of Panjakent. Travelers will enjoy a short hiking. There road drives along a gorge where 7 lakes are placed. They are situated on diverse altitudes and have altered colors. Rest is in a homestay.

Day 3: Seven Lakes - Penjakent
In the morning we will drive to Penjakent located in Khujand as well as Zeravshan river valley. The city was found in the 5th-8th centuries AD. Penjikent was the most imperative cultural and crafts centers of Sogd. It is also called "Central Asian Pompeii". You can see a city with a ruler's palace, two temples, markets, irritating dwelling houses adorned with frequent paintings, wooden and clay statues of ancient gods. The carcasses of this ancient city were found only in the last century. Nowadays the tourists can see the remnants of dwelling houses and office buildings, the citadel with the palace, the house of craftsmen, and fire worshiper's church. Overnight is in a hotel.

Day 4: Penjakent - Dushanbe - Hissor
The tour will start by driving to Dushanbe. The road will pass over Anzob pass (3 372 m) and tunnel of Isticlol. On the way you will have an opportunity to take many vibrant photos. The second half of the day is dedicated to a tour to Hisor fortress (VII-XVII centuries). It is 35 km from Dushanbe. This site has encouraged territories and citadel. The fortress used to be the castle of the representative of the Emir of Bukhara and situated on a high hill and was well defended with 1 m thick walls and dodges for guns. There was a pool and a garden and crossways from the fortress there was a busy market square with a caravan serai and shops. In addition, travelers will see monuments of "Madrasa I Kuhna" (16th-17th centuries), mosque as well as the mausoleum of "Mahdumi Azam" (16th century). Night is in a hotel. 

Day 5: Flight
In the morning is transfer to the airport.
