Trip to Tajikistan: Tour 4

Day 1: Dushanbe
The driver will meet you at the airport and accompany to Dushanbe. Today you will have a guided city tour. We will visit Rudake Park, National library, White House, National state seal, and House of parliament. Our dear guests will visit impressive National park, Ministry of Inner Affairs where they can see the biggest National Flag in the world of 165 m high pole, 30 m wide, 60 m long. In the afternoon we will visit Gurminj Museum of traditional musical instruments. Visit Asian bazaar and get acquainted with local lifestyle. Transfer to a hotel for rest.

Day 2: Dushanbe - Seven Lakes
The tour will start by driving to the Fannsky Gory (Fann Mountains). The road to the lakes drives over pass Shahriston (3 378 m). It is a very popular hiking area in Central Asia. Afterwards you will have a tour to the Seven Lakes (Marquzor Lakes). It is about 60 km south of Panjakent. Travelers will have a short hiking trip. There road goes sideways a gorge where 7 lakes are located. They are situated on altered altitudes and have unalike colors. In addition, you will meet locals. Night is in a homestay.

Day 3: Seven Lakes - Penjakent
We will travel to Penjakent. It is also called ("five villages") and located in Khujand and Zeravshan river valley. This ancient city was found in the 5th-8th centuries AD. Penjakent in past times was one of the most significant cultural and trades centers of Sogd. It was named "Central Asian Pompeii". It was a city with a leader's palace, two temples, markets, amusing dwelling houses decked with many paintings, wooden and clay statues of ancient gods. The ruins of this ancient city were originated only in the last century. On the way travelers will have an opportunity to find remnants of dwelling houses and office buildings, the citadel with the palace, the house of craftsmen, and fire worshiper's church. Rest is in a hotel.

Day 4: Jartepo
In the morning is transfer to Uzbek border.
