Trip to Tajikistan: Tour 3

Day 1: Dushanbe
We are happy to see you in Tajikistan. The driver will meet you at the airport of Dushanbe. Today travelers will have a city tour and visit Rudake Park, National library, White House, National state seal, and House of parliament. Then we will visit interesting places as Ministry of Inner Affairs where you can see the flag, the pole of which is about 165 m high, 30 m wide, 60 m long. The next destination is visiting Gurminj Museum and the Asian bazaar.  We are sure you will be impressed by oriental goods. Transfer to a hotel for rest.

Day 2: Dushanbe - Khoburubot - Kalai Khum
Today we will travel to famous Khoburubot Pass. It is well-known for the height of 3252 m above sea level and also called the Western Pamir Tract. Everyone will have an opportunity to take vibrant photos. In addition, you can communicate with hospitable Tajik people. They are always happy to get conversant with the guests. Night is in a hotel.

Day 3: Kalai Khum - Khorog
This day is dedicated to the search of the city Khorog. It is fenced by the mountains. The city was bent on the junction of the rivers - Shokhdara river and Ghund river flow into Pyanj river. Here it is likely to connect with the people of Pamir. They are living apart from the Tajik people, and very hospitable. They have blond hair, blue eyes. The Pamir Mountains are the highest ones where the people live, on the first place the Himalayas in Tibet. Rest is in a guesthouse.

Day 4: Khorog - Langar
In the morning we will drive to Tajik Afgan border and then to the village Langar. The Pamir mountains will inspire travelers by its colors and high altitude. It is also called "the Roof of the World" where lots of people could find the accord. The mountains are placed at the heights of 3 500 to 4 200 m above sea level. This is one of the places where we still can see the cultural notions and traditional particularities. Night is in a homestay.

Day 5: Langar - Yashil Kul Lake - Bulunkul Lake - Murgab
Today we are going to travel the Murghab, fleeting the Naizatash pass. This is one of the prevalent sites for all desiring to make a tour in Tajikistan. You will be at the height of 4137m above sea level it is likely to see the Roof of the World. The local people deliberate it is of great position to visit and see it. The Murgab is known with lots of rocks and peaks on it. The altitude here is 6000m above sea level. The climate of the heights is severe. The aim is seen in the great heights as with every new altitude it develops cooler. Overnight is in a guesthouse.

Day 6: Murgab - Yashil Kul Lake - Bulunkul Lake
Today we will see the Yashil Kul and Bulunkul. Yashil Kul means "the green lake" and Bulunkul "blue lakes". Travelers are going to see them at the height of 3700m above sea level. The name of the second stated lake is perhaps recognized by the color of the waters of it, being violet and blue, dark-blue. The lake has a lot of fish. In addition, you can see animals like yaks, cow and sheep. Later on we will pass the Naizatash pass, Pamir Highway (M41 Pamir Tract) and get to the last destination of the day as Khorog. Rest.

Day 7: Khorog - Kalai Khum
Travelers will drive to Kalai Khum. The wholw area is situated at the height of 6000m above sea level. The territory is of the wonderful views, making the people to awe the splendors. On the way travelers will be told about the history of the sites and people. All of the inhabitants are glad to tell some facts about their lifestyle. We will pass other side of the Afgan stony villages and gardens. Night is in a hotel.

Day 8: Kalai Khum - Norak - Dushanbe  
Today we will drive via Shuraba pass. It is at the height of 2267m above sea level. It is defined to be the territory of the Pamir Mountains. These sites were examined by explores when they were in Tajikistan as Marco Polo, Hsuan Tsang, Mirza Muhammad Haidar. During the way you are going to see the border Pyanj River. See the Norak water reservoir as well. Overnight is in a hotel.

Day 9: Dushanbe - Iskanderkul Lake
In the morning we will travel to Iskanderkul Lake located at the 2225 m above sea level. See the great mountains which are attractive and hypnotic. We will pass the Anzob pass, get to the height of 3372m above sea level and get to the remarkable waterfall. You will get the information about the country to be one with the big amount of water resources in all of the CIS countries. Night is in a guesthouse.

Day 10: Iskanderkul Lake - Dushanbe
The tour will start by visiting the Central Museum. The travelers will have an opportunity to see the history and the past inheritance of the Tajik people, with further sightseeing tour near the museum. It is right in the center of the park where everyone can enjoy the art of 22 galleries. Then the group gets to see the model of the Buddha monument. Rest is in a hotel.

Day 11: Dushanbe - Airport
