Trip to Kyrgyzstan: Tour 8

Day 1: Bishkek
We are happy to see you in Kyrgyzstan! On arrival you will be transferred from airport and have city tour. The road to the capital of Kyrgyzstan will take about 40 minutes. Travelers will visit Pobeda Square (Victory Square), Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Central Ala-Too Square, the National Arts Museum, National Philharmonic, and many others places of interest. The tour will be continued visiting Asian Bazaar and enjoy the local life. Here you will be able to find many interesting and colorful stuff. Overnight is in a hotel.

Day 2: Bishkek - Toktogul
You will start your travel at 8 o clock. The route of the tour goes to the interesting setting near the Toktogul reservoir. In course of the tour you will be impressed to see the astonishing view of the mountain gorges where it is possible to meet nomads. Moreover you will be impressed to know that many local people still live in yurts. Such dwelling made of wool and wooden sticks, without using a single nail. The interesting fact about them is that in summer its cool there while in winter is warm. Nomads go to high mountains during the summer to breed their cattle. During the tour you will know that people of Kyrgyzstan are very friendly and hospitable. Night is in a guesthouse.

Day 3: Toktogul - Sary Chelek
Next destination of the tour is one of the most beautiful lakes, the Sary Chelek lake (1,873m above sea level). You can find it in the center of a National reserve, at the foot of the Chatkal mountain range. The size of it is 234m deep, 2,280m wide and 7,500m long. In course of the travel you will learn that this lake was formed due to the strong earthquake. You will be impressed to see clean water due to which stones at the bottom of the lake can be seen. This lake will amaze you by having a diverse of flora and fauna. Here you will be able to find 300 species of plants, 32 species of trees, 80 types of bushes, 38 species of animals and 157 species of birds. The lake is encircled by the high mountains the peaks of which are white. The murmuring brooks sound like the endless melody of the mountains. Night is in a home stay.

Day 4: Sary Chelek - Arslanbob
Today's destination is Arslanbob village where you will see the famous Arslanbob's grove. This forest produces 1500 tons of walnuts per year. Moreover it is surprising to know that it is the largest walnut forest in the world. Here you will have hiking tour to see the walnut forests that is also known as the "Royal Woods of Kyrgyzstan". The territory of this sight occupies 11,000 hectares. It is known that nuts from this area were exported along the Great Silk Road in the Middle Ages. During t tour you will enjoy the beauty of the nature while walking to a small waterfall. During the tour you will have an opportunity to communicate with locals. This night will be in a home stay.

Day 5: Arslanbob - Osh
We will have a tour travelling to Osh city. By heading on to the Southern capital of Kyrgyzstan you will have a stop at Djalal Abad town to see its famous Uzgen Tower. During the tour you will know that this sight was built in the11th century by Karakhanids. After it you will see the mausoleums that were used as burial places for the leaders. Upon arrival to Osh city you will have visit sight tours to which are very popular - Suleiman Mountain. Suleiman Too or Solomon's Mountain can be found in the very heart of the city.  During the tour you will be impressed to know that this sight is considered to be a pilgrimage place for local Muslims. As the legend says biblical prophet Solomon (Suleiman in the Koran) was buried at the foot of it. Overnight will be in hotel.

Day 6: Flight
Today you will finish your tour and will be transferred to the airport.
