Trip to Kyrgyzstan: Tour 4
Day 1: Bishkek - Chunkurchak - Bishkek
Upon arrival to airport you will meet your guide that will take you to the capital of Kyrgyzstan. The road to Bishkek city will take 40 minutes upon reaching it you will start your guided city tour to explore the most prominent sights of the city like Pobeda Square (Victory Square), Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Central Ala-Too Square, Old Square, National Philharmonic, and many others places of interest. Next destination of the tour will be Chunkurchak gorge that is located at 45 km from the capital of Kyrgyzstan. You will be impressed to see the smallest yet most beautiful gorges in Kyrgyzstan. The name of this gorge means "hollow". By being the National Biological Reserve here can be found rare species of tulips. During spring you will be mesmer5ized by the picturesque bright-scarlet meadow. While in winter you can enjoy a ski complex for individual and family recreation. Chunkurchak leads to the larger Takhr Gorge, which contains a 200 m rock that can be seen in even at Alamedin River. In the evening is transfer to Bishkek where you will spend night in hotel.
Day 2: Bishkek - Burana - Chon Kemin
In course of the tour you will travel to Chon Kemin gorge. On the way you will have a stop to explore the Burana Tower that is known to be an 11th century minaret and an open air museum of Balbals that are known as stone warriors. During the tour you will have an opportunity to climb to the top of the tower to witness the view that people saw many years ago. After that you will be transferred to Chon Kemin gorge. You will be greeted by a local family on arrival, followed by a 3 hour horse ride. During the interesting travel you will enjoy the breathtaking beauty of high mountains and mountain forest. On the top you will see the panorama view of the gorge. The night is in a home stay.
Day 3: Chon Kemin - Issyk Kul lake northern shore - Karakol
In course of the tour you will be transferred to the famous celestial lake that is known as Issyk Kul Lake. During the travel you will be impressed to know that this lake is known as the second largest alpine lake in the world the altitude of which is 1608m.above sea level. Moreover the lake is called "the pearl of Central Asia" that used to be a sacred one for more than 1 500 years. This lake is lays among the mighty mountains. Here your tour will go through the northern shore and arrive to Karakol town. Here you will also witness the ancient stone patterns - petroglyphs. Upon arrival to Karakol you will visit the Dungan mosque that was made in Chinese style without using a single metal nail and an old wooden Orthodox Church. Night is in a hotel.
Day 4: Karakol - Jeti Oguz - Issyk Kul southern shore - Tamga
Today your tour will go to Jeti Oguz gorge that is famous due red rocks formations that have a name Seven Bulls or Jeti Oguz. You will be impressed to see the Broken Heart Mountain moreover you can enjoy the breathtaking panorama view. The road to it you will take 20 minutes. Then you ill head on to Flower Valley for having a hiking tour to a mountain waterfall. Here you will enjoy the breathtaking nature and see yurts with people who can offer you to drink Kumis. In course of the tour you will learn that it is a national drink that is made of mare's milk as well as being an alcoholic drink. Then we continue our drive along the southern shore of Issyk Kul lake. Night is in a homestay in Tamga.
Day 5: Tamga - Fairy Tale Canyons - Bishkek
In course of the travel you will drive back to the capital of Kyrgyzstan. On the way to it you will have a break to explore the magnificent beauty of Skazka (Fairy Tale) Canyon. Here you will be able to see the red sand formation that will amaze you by its interesting forms. While enjoying the picturesque beauty of the lake and gorge you will have aesthetically pleasing as well as the unity with nature. Moreover you will be very careful to or to disturb or destroy such beauty that was made by the Creator. Then you will have an opportunity to have a swim in Issyk-Kul Lake. Next destination is the Bokonbaeva village that is popular sight in tours to Kyrgyzstan due to the local eagle-hunter. He uses the traditional way of hunting that passed through generations. He hunts hares and foxes with the help of eagles. Then we continue to Bishkek. Night is in a hotel.
